FAQ's

  • Please ensure you print your e-tickets or better still, bring a digital copy on your phone/device with you on the day
  • Gates open 1hr before the performance start time to the rear of Town Gardens Bowl – please follow directional signage
  • Please do not arrive before this time, as the team will still be preparing the performance area
  • Disabled and access for pushchairs can be found at the rear of Town Gardens Bowl, by the Town Gardens Café - please follow signage, or ask a volunteer event marshal for information
  • Seating and space are allocated on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved
  • You will be advised to ensure you are always at least 2m away from anyone outside of your group once seated - please cooperate with our volunteer event stewards
  • Toilets are located adjacent to Town Gardens Bowl - please follow signage, wear your face mask and sanitise your hands afterwards
  • A disabled toilet will be located to the rear of Town Gardens Bowl for ease of access to those who need it
  • Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the performance is due to start

  • Tickets cannot be purchased on the gate at this time

  • If you haven’t booked a free seat, please bring something to sit on for example a blanket, rug, or low-backed seat
  • Rugs/blankets will be positioned at the front, with chairs placed behind those sat on the ground

  • Please check the weather forecast beforehand to judge whether you will need to bring rain macs or indeed, sun lotion - the show will go on!
  • We recommend bringing waterproof jackets/trousers/blankets, etc, rather than umbrellas, as a courtesy to those who may be seated behind you
  • You are welcome to bring umbrellas. However, we ask that you consider the rest of the audience and their view of the performance
  • We will try to notify you in several ways in the unlikely event that a performance has been cancelled
  • We will always email ticket holders at the email address provided when tickets were purchased
  • We will publish show status updates via Facebook - @SouthParishSwindon - please be sure to follow us here to stay up to date

  • We are pleased to be able to offer a range of snacks and beverages from Town Gardens Café, who will be onsite. Both cash and card are accepted. Please adhere to social distancing when queuing and collecting your items
  • You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages; however, we please ask that you respect those around you and take your litter away with you to ensure we don’t cause any hazard to the wildlife we share the space with.

  • Due to the nature of event, only assistance dogs are permitted.

  • We are unable to offer refunds or ticket exchanges. Please double check the dates and times of the production carefully, before you book.

Concessions are for those:

  • Under 16
  • 60 and over
  • Disabled

  • We take safety very seriously. This is why we will be socially-distancing audiences across all shows until restrictions are lifted.
  • We ask that all our audiences respect the safety of everyone at the performance and remember that we are only trying our best to do what’s best for everyone.
  • You will be greeted by friendly staff wearing PPE
  • You will be seated by a volunteer event steward (also wearing PPE) at a spot 2m away from other audience members
  • If the “rule of 6” is still in effect, we will not seat groups larger than 6 together
  • We will remind audiences to keep 2m apart from other audience members, including in queues into and out of the venues and for the toilets
  • Toilets will be cleaned regularly and staff (wearing PPE) will make hand sanitiser readily available
  • When you purchase a ticket, your phone number and email will be kept for 2 weeks after the event, for track and trace purposes. We will not add you to any marketing lists unless you have given us permission to do so

Please stay at home if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, or gastro-intestinal issues. Additionally, please do not attend the event if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

Our refund policy has been amended for individuals with a positive Covid test results. We are happy to offer 2 options in this situation:

To find the Town Gardens, follow the road sign from Bath Road and access to the Gardens is from Quarry Road or, alternatively, from Westlecot Road. Please note, however, that roadside parking is severely limited, and it is recommended that the public car park in Bath Road (access top of Eastcott Road), only 250 metres from the gardens, is used.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the Event Manager, supported by the volunteer event marshals, who will ensure you are guided to an area of safety. The designated meeting point is at the tennis courts on Quarry Road.
Please do not attempt to re-enter the venue until you have been advised by either the Event Manager or the Emergency Services, that it is safe for you to do so. There is a qualified first aider on site at all times the venue is open to the public.

Should you have a medical emergency please notify a volunteer event steward as soon as possible.
